Today we made some serious GTK core updates via eccLive, the old core has been replaced by a new one, this took a while bacause a forum member had trouble running ECC with this new core (and there could be more people), so it was delayed, but since this is solved we finally made the step!

The new core makes the icons look more ‘refreshing’, also many GUI bugs are fixed and speed has been increased, all this combined with a new GTK engine a theme called ‘clearlooks’ it looks very nice…when you have installed a 0.9.7 WIP version….ECC really has the ‘looks’ and shows what it’s capable off !!
