Available download versions

There are two download types available. You only need one of them. Here a little description. Choose one!

INSTALLER (.exe)
This download contains an installer exe. You only execute this and the installer guide you trough the installation process.

Installer benefits:
1. No extractor needed to extract the files.
2. Creates desktop & Startmenu icons
3. Configures the standard ECC options for you in one click.

7Zip packed (.7z)
This version is only a 7z package. If you have installed 7zip, you can download this and unpack it in your favorite directory!

NOTE: There is no(more) support for Windows 95/98/ME, Linux, MacOS, ect…Why? The problem is that for certain DLL calls, like calculating the CRC32 for BIG games…makes PHP crash, so we use some external programs, wich unfortunatly only work on (newer) Windows NT systems, maybe in the feature we’ll look again if PHP can handle the stuff (and when i learned some php-gtk stuff to improve ECC ;-)), but if you are an expert, you may install ECC for yourself and take a look at the code, maybe you can change the world

The WIP Versions (Work In Progress) are not direct downloadable. You can download it, if you are a emuControlCenter forum member. Register here for wip-download in the emuControlCenter forum. (See DEVELOPEMENT section!) Here you can download the current available WIP Version and get also tips from the Dev-Team and can ask your questions!, you can find the wip changelog in the forum!

If you have installed emuControlCenter, you can also update via the integrated online autoupdater: ECC Live!

The benefit of ECC Live! is, that if new platforms are added or small bugfixed are done, you can get this within second, and you are up-to-date!… btw ECC LIVE! is free Without eccLive! you have to wait for this updates until we create an R package containing all updates so far!
